Delete your SelfOS account & data

You can permanently delete your SelfOS account and everything associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

Open SelfOS and make sure you're signed in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm by entering your password and tapping Delete forever.

Your account and all of your data are erased immediately and you are signed out.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app, email support@selfoshq.com from the email address you registered with, asking us to delete your account. We will verify and delete it, and confirm by reply.

This is permanent.

Deletion cannot be undone. There is no recovery or grace period.

What gets deleted

Deletion removes all data tied to your account, including:

Your account credentials (email and password hash).
Every event you logged — money, food, health/weight, work, relationships/calls, notes, and custom entries.
Your financial profile (salaries, EMIs, assets, snapshots, budgets, insurance, tax records).
Relationships, documents, intentions/tasks, and any meal photos.
Insights, notification tokens, and any connected-service records.
Files you uploaded — meal photos and documents are removed from our servers, not just their database records.

What we keep

Nothing personal is retained after deletion. Aggregate, non-identifying operational logs may persist only as long as needed for security and are not linkable to you.

The same applies to anonymous usage activity — records of which screens were opened and which buttons were tapped, used to understand how the app is used overall. On deletion we permanently strip both identifiers from these records: the link to your account, and the random device identifier they were collected under. They cannot afterwards be traced back to you, or re-linked if you sign up again from the same device. They never contained any of the data you logged — no amounts, meals, weights, notes, messages, or voice transcripts.
